U-17 Women’s World Cup: US Eliminates Morocco After 4-0 Win
The US defeated Morocco 4-0 as part of the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup competition on Monday, October 17.
With this defeat, Morocco is officially out of the competition after losing two matches. The lionesses secured only one win during the competition against the host country, India.

Kohler Charlotte from the US squad scored the first goal in the 24th minute, positioning her squad in the lead during the first half.
The US strengthened their result with three other goals during the second half of the match. Smith Samantha scored the second match in the 70th minute. Three minutes later, Samantha’s teammate Kohler added the third goal for the US.
In the 81st minute, Samantha scored the winning goal for the Americans, ousting Morocco’s lionesses from the competition.
Despite the loss, Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses’ appearance in the World Cup is making local headlines.
After their loss against Brazil, the Moroccan team was able to crush the host country, India, 3-0 last week.
This is the first time Morocco has qualified for the U-17 Women’s World Cup, making the participation a historic one.
The competition is taking place from October 10-30.
