Government Council to Convene on Thursday

The Council will begin its work by examining four draft decrees, said a statement from the Department of the Head of Government, stating that the first concerns the extension of the duration of the state of health emergency established throughout the national territory to cope with the spread of COVID-19, while the second relates to the creation of new districts and caïdats.

The third draft decree establishes the formation and working methods of the National Committee on Phytosanitary Products, while the fourth amends the decree on the implementation of the Customs and Indirect Tax Code of the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration.

Subsequently, the Council will examine a draft decree on public procurement, before concluding its work by examining proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, notes the statement.

The government will hold, after the work of the Council, a meeting dedicated to the examination of some proposed legislation, the same source adds.
