Anouar Association for Development and Solidarity organizes a symposium on the empowerment of rural women

Within the framework of its annual activities for women and the celebration of Morocco Independence Day, to enhance the role of women in society and the environment in which they live and give them more opportunities for success, excellence, and influence in the community, the Anouar Association organizes a symposium on « Women’s Empowerment. »

The conference will be organized to contribute to increasing scientific, health, and institutional progress, family stability, and community participation locally to achieve women’s empowerment. Efforts are being made to expand the scope and type of job opportunities as their quality is necessary for women’s empowerment, in addition to supporting policies and legislation conducive to the mechanism and guaranteeing
compatibility with family life.

Mr. Mohamed Dekkak, President of the Anouar Association for Development and Solidarity, stated that the event supports the United Nations Development Program to achieve the goals of sustainable development, especially the fifth goal, which is to ensure an end
discrimination against women and girls everywhere, as significant inequalities remain in the labor market in some areas, with women being systematically denied equal access to jobs.

The symposium will be supervised by Mrs. Laila Rahal El-Atfani, Goodwill Ambassador and President of the Business Gate and I AM Africa platform, on November 18, 2022, starting at 11:00 a.m., in Ait Faska, Marrakech.
