Earthquake of 4.5 degrees hits Rif region
The National Institute of Geophysics announced Saturday that it had recorded an earthquake, measuring 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale off the coast of Driouch province in the Moroccan Rif region.
The institute stated in a warning bulletin that this tremor determined its epicenter along the coast of Driouch region, and it occurred at 12:32:42 after midnight (GMT +1).
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 25 kilometers, occurred at the confluence of latitude 35.458 degrees north and longitude 3.573 degrees west.
