Agreement with Air Traffic Controllers Will Preserve Social Peace (Official)
The dialogue with air traffic controllers has led to an agreement to preserve social peace, said Wednesday, Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mustapha Baitas.
The departments of employment and transport have been charged by the Head of Government to directly supervise negotiations to discuss various issues affecting air traffic controllers, said Baitas at a press briefing after the Council of Government’s meeting, adding that these negotiations have resulted in the suspension of the strike and the signing of an agreement to preserve social peace.
The union of air traffic controllers had threatened to observe a protest movement by ensuring a minimum service for 15 days from December 23.
