Central Bank Issues Commemorative Silver Medal on Museum’s 20th Anniversary
According to a press release from the institution, this commemorative medal has the effigy of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the obverse, in addition to the words « Mohammed VI » and « Kingdom of Morocco » with at the bottom the years 2022-1443.
On the reverse, the medal has the inscription « 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Museum of Bank Al-Maghrib, » said the release.
As for the center of the reverse of the medal, it contains the inscription and the visual identity of the Museum of Bank Al-Maghrib and an artistic representation of its exhibition hall and the dome of the historic site of Bank Al-Maghrib, says the same source.
The technical characteristics of the medal are as follows: an alloy composed of 925‰ of silver and 75‰ of copper, a weight of 28.28 grams and a diameter of 38.61 millimeters, notes Bank Al-Maghrib.
The institution also stresses that the sale of this medal is planned at the level of Bank Al-Maghrib counters and the store of its Museum in Rabat, from Monday, January 2, 2023.
