Morocco: heavy rains, strong wind gusts and snowfall from Thursday to Sunday in several regions
Heavy rains sometimes stormy, strong wind gusts and snowfalls are expected from Thursday to Sunday in several regions of the Kingdom, announced Wednesday the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Heavy rains sometimes stormy oscillating between 25 and 35 mm will concern, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., the provinces of Aousserd and Oued Ed-Dahhab, said the DGM in an orange alert bulletin.
Also, Tetouan, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq and Tangier-Assilah will experience strong wind gusts (75 to 95 km/h) from Thursday at 12 p.m. to Saturday at 10:00 p.m., while Nador, Al-Haouz, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Chtouka ait Baha, Tiznit, Inezgane Ait Melloul, Taroudant, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan and Guelmim will experience strong wind gusts (70 to 85 km/h) from Friday at 3 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m., the same source said.
Snowfall (05 to 20 cm) will be recorded on Friday above 1,600m in the provinces of Taroudant, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Ouarzazate and Tiznit, concluded the DGM.
