Nearly 210,000 companies created at the end of March 2023

This figure is divided between legal persons (88,461 companies) and natural persons (121,715 companies), according to the general dashboard of the Ompic.
According to the same source, the sectoral classification of companies created is dominated by the trade sector (43.98%), followed by construction and public works (BTP) and real estate activities (15.92%), miscellaneous services ( 12.81%), industries (8.94%), transport (7.17%), hotels and restaurants (5.15%), the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector (3 .98%), agriculture and fishing (1.40%) and financial activities (0.66%).
By legal form, 48.5% of the companies created are limited liability companies (SARL), 45.3% single-member limited liability companies (SARLAU), 4.2% public limited companies (SA), 1, 6% of general partnerships (SNC) and 0.3% of branches (SUCC).
By region, Casablanca-Settat monopolizes 61,637 creations, ahead of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (28,339), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (25,098), Marrakech-Safi (20,315), Fès-Meknes (19,800), Oriental ( 15,846), Souss-Massa (13,229), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (7,792), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (7,764), Drâa-Tafilalet (5,367), Guelmim Oued Noun (2,516) and Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab (2,455) .
