Historic: Morocco’s Women football team qualify for Round of 16 after beating Colombia 1-0

A historic day for national women’s football. Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses secured their place in the 2nd round of the Women’s World Cup by beating Colombia 1-0 on the 3rd and final day of Group H.
The goal was scored by Anissa Lahmari (45’+4).
The other match in the group between Germany and South Korea ended in a draw (1-1).
It should be noted that the Moroccan team is the first Arab team to take part in a Women’s World Cup finals.
