7.0 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Central Morocco
An earthquake of magnitude 7.0 on the Richter scale struck Morocco’s Al Haouz Province (center) on Friday evening, the National Institute of Geophysics reported.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which was at a depth of approximately 8 kilometers, was located at a latitude of 30,961 degrees north and a longitude of 8,413 degrees west, pointed out the Institute, which located the epicenter in the municipality of Ighil, in the province of Al Haouz.
