Under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco is « an opportunity for Europe and for France, » said the Ambassador of the French Republic in Rabat, Christophe Lecourtier, who highlighted the Kingdom’s « remarkable » economic path.
« Morocco is a real opportunity for Europe, and for France in particular (…). A country with a vision, great continuity in the effort to implement it, and a stable governance. This is all thanks to HM King Mohammed VI,” said the French diplomat.
Lecourtier said the Kingdom is now one of the leading emerging countries in terms of investment attractiveness, buoyed by one of the most advantageous business environments in the world.
This is evidenced, he explained, by the ever-increasing investment flows by French companies, with the largest among them present in strategic sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, rail and services.
In fact, Morocco remains « the place to be » for many of the world’s leading operators, the ambassador noted.
Describing the business environment offered by Morocco to foreign investors as « absolutely remarkable and incomparable », « compared to other countries in the South, but also some other ones in the North,” Lecourtier highlighted the Kingdom’s undeniable virtues, particularly in terms of governance, thanks to the far-sighted vision of HM King Mohammed VI.
