These talks, attended by Panama’s Ambassador to Morocco, Tomás Antonio Guardia, examined the ways to further promote bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on their parliamentary aspect, the Lower House said in a press release.
In this regard, both parties called for promoting expertise exchange, intensifying visits, renewing the parliamentary friendship group and fostering regional and international parliamentary cooperation, « while upholding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and refraining from interference in their internal affairs ».
The Panamanian official also held talks with Speaker of the House of Councillors, Enaam Mayara, which was an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of both sides to consolidate their relations and inject new impetus into bilateral cooperation.
