The operation was carried out in collaboration with various institutions in the Holy City, including the Al-Quds Governorate, the Al Aqsa Mosque Waqf and Affairs Circle, and the Directorate of Education and Teaching. In addition to several hospitals equipped with in-house kitchens to serve patients, such as the Charities Association hospital and the Augusta Victoria (Al Mutlaa) and Al Hilal hospitals.
Teams working with the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency continue to distribute meals at an average rate of 1,000 per day to hospices in areas outside the wall, such as the Biddu and Al Judeira hospices, as well as the Qalandia, Beit Hanina Al Balad, and Al-Ayziria camps. Meals were also provided to worshipers at the Al Aqsa Mosque whenever security conditions permitted.
Meals were also distributed to residents of the Ahl Gaza reception centre in Al-Ayziria, as well as to orphanages and retirement homes in the same neighborhood. Daily meal distributions also extended to other localities such as Al-Ram, Issawiya, the Shu’afat and At-Tur camps, the old town, Sur Baher, Silwan, and the village of Nabi Samwil.
For Eid al-Fitr, the Agency plans to distribute 200 outfits to orphans under its care, along with organizing religious events featuring Quran recitations and panegyrics.
