Bourita Meets Gambian Peer in Banjul

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held talks, on Thursday in Banjul, with his Gambian counterpart, Mamadou Tangara.

The meeting between the two ministers, held at the headquarters of the Gambian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, focused on strengthening relations between Morocco and the Gambia and ways of further reinforcing bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The talks took place on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Islamic Summit Conference, being held on May 4-5 in Banjul, under the theme « Enhancing Unity and Solidarity Through Dialogue For Sustainable Development ».

Bourita was accompanied at the meeting by ambassador, director general of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), Mohamed Methqal, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Moroccan Embassy in Gambia, Ali Belhaj.
