OIC Summit in Banjul: Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency’s Exhibitions Achieved Strong Attendance

The thematic exhibitions organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Summit Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which ended on Sunday in Banjul, The Gambia, were well attended by the participating delegations.

Several foreign ministers who visited the Agency’s exhibitions, including the head of diplomacy of the host country, the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), as well as ambassadors and other personalities, expressed their admiration and appreciation for the far-reaching action taken by the Al-Quds Committee, under the presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the service of the Holy City and in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency’s exhibitions included one dedicated to local products from Palestinian associations, financed by the Agency as part of the « Civil Initiatives for Human Development » program, and another devoted to products derived from the olive tree (wood, figurines, vegetable oils, cosmetics, kohl, soap, etc.).

The Agency devoted another exhibition to paintings and archive photos of Al-Quds Committee meetings and various social assistance programs, as well as to the presentation of books and other publications.

The Agency has distributed, on this occasion, its activity report for 2023, the report on the Agency’s silver jubilee celebrations under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, as well as a report on the results of the large-scale humanitarian operation ordered by His Majesty the King for the benefit of Palestinians in Al-Quds and Gaza during the month of Ramadan.

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency took part in the 15th session of the OIC Summit Conference with a delegation led by the Agency’s Managing Director, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui.
