Dutch club PSV Eindhoven has barred Moroccan international Ismael Saibari from participating with Morocco’s national Olympic team in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, preferring to keep him for the team’s preseason preparations.
According to Hesport sources, PSV informed Saibari on Monday of their decision, and the Moroccan international set to meet with the team’s coach and technical director on Tuesday in a final attempt to secure permission to join the Olympics.
Morocco’s Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced that the Olympic team coach, Tarik Sektioui, will hold a press conference on Thursday to announce the final squad for the Olympics.
