Members of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Guelmim managed to arrest the driver of a utility vehicle loaded with an estimated quantity of 20 kilograms of the drug Shera, on National Road No. 1 at the level of the “Zariula” roundabout, belonging to the Asrir territorial community.
The seizure of these drugs was based on accurate information provided to the services of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Guelmim. A search of the car coming from Agadir and loaded with a shipment of red watermelon (dah) revealed the seizure of the seized drugs, which were carefully hidden.
The Public Prosecution ordered the car driver to be placed under theoretical guard, for the benefit of the investigation conducted by the Royal Gendarmerie in Guelmim in order to reach the source and destination of the drug shipment, as well as all possible extensions of the case.
