The 18th edition of the Mohammed VI International Prize for Quran Memorization, Psalmody, and Recitation will be held on September 3 and 4, announced the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
This competition, organized on the occasion of Eid Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi Acharif of the year 1446 H, reflects the ministry’s interest in the Holy Quran in terms of memorization, recitation, and exegesis, according to a ministry statement on Monday.
In addition to Morocco, candidates from Arab, Islamic, African, European, and Asian countries will participate in this prize.
The opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at the Media Library of the Hassan II Mosque Foundation in Casablanca.
