The Casablanca Stock Exchange started its trading on Tuesday on a positive note, with its main index, MASI, growing by 0.04% to settle at 13,439.96 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of the top 20 listed companies, advanced by 0.03% to 1,089.26 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, tracking companies with the best ESG ratings, gained 0.07% to 978.77 points.
Conversely, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, declined by 0.09% to 1,220.9 points.
It’s worth noting that the MASI index had closed Monday’s session with a loss of 0.61%.
