After signing Yahia Attiat-Allah and showing interest in Achraf Bencharki, Al-Ahly continues to target Moroccan players, with Sofiane Boufal being the latest focus.
According to Egyptian media, Al-Ahly wants to strengthen its offensive lineup and sees Sofiane Boufal as the ideal candidate, ready to offer him a contract worth nearly 3 million euros. The Cairo club has not yet started talks with Al-Rayyan or the Moroccan international’s agent. Boufal enjoys particular appreciation and admiration in Egypt.
Boufal is a key player for Al-Rayyan, which he joined in 2023 from the French club Angers for 6 million euros.
Al-Ahly has already been active in this summer transfer window, having acquired Yahia Attiat-Allah and agreed with the Russian club Sochi on a one-season loan with a purchase option. His contract with Sochi runs until June 30, 2026.
