A police officer took his own life on the morning of Wednesday, August 21, in a forest near the toll station of the highway connecting Kenitra to Rabat.
According to initial information, the 37-year-old man made this decision under mysterious circumstances.
Details indicate that the deceased got out of his car, approached a tree in the forest, and hanged himself after a failed attempt to end his life by cutting his wrist with a knife.
It is worth noting that the deceased, originally from Khemisset and working in Rabat, left behind deep shock among his colleagues and his immediate and extended family.
