For this Thursday, the General Directorate of Meteorology anticipates continued hot weather in certain areas of the central interior plains, the Moulouya Valley, the southeastern regions, and the inland parts of the Saharan provinces.
During the morning and night, relatively dense low clouds accompanied by fog are expected to form over the northern and central plains as well as along the coastal areas.
Thunderstorms are forecasted in the southern Saharan provinces, along with the development of some cumulus clouds over the High Atlas mountains and their eastern slopes.
Moderately strong wind gusts, occasionally causing dust to rise, will affect the central coasts, the Souss region, areas of the Anti-Atlas, and the southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius in the plains west of the Atlas, Chiadma, the southeast, and the interior of the Saharan provinces. They will be between 11 and 16 degrees in the Rif and the High and Middle Atlas mountains, and between 17 and 23 degrees across the rest of the country.
A significant increase in daytime temperatures is expected in the far south of the country.
As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar will be calm to slightly choppy, while the Atlantic coasts will see slight to moderate waves. The sea will be rough to very rough between Cap Sim and Sidi Ifni and south of Boujdour.
