The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Monday near equilibrium, with its main index, the MASI, slightly declining by 0.02% to 13,950.63 points. Shortly after the opening, the MASI.20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, decreased by 0.01% to 1,131.84 points, while the MASI.ESG, the index of companies with the best ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, rose by 0.06% to 1,019.21 points. The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, advanced by 0.36% to 1,255.46 points. On Friday, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.19%.
