The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened higher on Monday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.11% to 13,949.19 points.
The MASI.20 index, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, increased by 0.13% to 1,131.72 points, while the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings according to Moody’s ESG Solutions, gained 0.19% to 1,014.81 points.
In contrast, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, fell by 0.08% to 1,284.32 points.
Among individual stocks, the largest gains were seen in Résidences Dar Saada (+6.3% to 81 DH), Stokvis Nord Afrique (+3.87% to 14.75 DH), Fenie Brossette (+2.5% to 119 DH), Cosumar (+2.39% to 188.4 DH), and Itissalat Al-Maghrib (+1.98% to 95 DH).
Conversely, the biggest losses were recorded by Ib Maroc.com (-5.55% to 40.2 DH), Colorado (-3.35% to 50.26 DH), Med Paper (-3.23% to 21 DH), Delta Holding (-3% to 48.5 DH), and TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc (-2.4% to 1,425 DH).
On Friday, the MASI had closed with a slight loss of 0.01%.
