Several players of the national team arrived this Monday, August 2nd, at the training camp in Maâmora in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Videos shared on the national team’s Instagram account show the arrival of players such as Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Brahim Diaz, Youssef En-Nesyri, Ilias Akhomach, Bilal El Khannouss, and the new Atlas Lion, Adam Aznou.
More national team players are expected to arrive in the coming hours. Achraf Hakimi’s teammates will spend a few days at the Mohammed VI Complex before heading to Agadir.
The national team will face Gabon next Friday at 8:00 PM at the Grand Stade in Agadir, followed by a match against Lesotho on September 9th.
The Mountakhab has already qualified for the next edition of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco. This period will allow coach Walid Regragui to assess the performance of some players ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
