The Casablanca Stock Exchange started its trading today, Tuesday, on a positive note, with its main index « MASI » advancing by 0.11%, settling at 13,984.19 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, also grew by 0.11% to 1,134.13 points. However, the « MASI.ESG » index, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings, fell by 0.09% to 1,011.29 points.
Meanwhile, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, decreased by 0.02% to 1,293.03 points.
On an individual stock level, the strongest gains were recorded by « Société des Boissons du Maroc » (+6% / 2,598 dirhams), « Stokvis North Africa » (+5.06% / 16.39 dirhams), « Microdata » (+2.4% / 640 dirhams), « SNEP » (+2.23% / 508 dirhams), and « Immorente Invest » (+2.12% / 93.95 dirhams).
Conversely, the biggest declines were seen by « Fenie Brossette » (-3.03% / 120.05 dirhams), « Lesieur Cristal » (-2.14% / 274 dirhams), « Résidences Dar Saada » (-2.02% / 77.99 dirhams), « Risma » (-1.68% / 231.05 dirhams), and « Atlanta Sanad » (-1.53% / 129 dirhams).
Yesterday, the MASI index closed the session with a gain of 0.25%.
