Customs and national security agents at the Bab Sebta border post seized 16.4 kg of hashish on Monday. According to a customs source, this seizure occurred during a vehicle inspection and search operation at the crossing. The drugs, packaged in slabs and wrapped in adhesive tape, were carefully hidden in a compartment within the air conditioning system, behind the dashboard of a light vehicle registered in Spain. The Moroccan driver has been referred to the judicial police for further investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, while the vehicle has been impounded by customs for the investigation.
