Smeia, the exclusive importer of BMW in Morocco, announces the 10th edition of the BMW Golf Cup in Morocco.
This event, which has become a must-attend for amateur golfers in Morocco, will kick off its Central qualifiers on September 7th and 8th at Casa Green Golf in Bouskoura.
The Northern qualifiers will take place on September 21st at Al Houara Golf Club in Tangier, while the Southern qualifiers will be held on October 26th at Fairmont Royal Palm. The Junior and Final events are scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd at Bahia Golf Club in Bouznika.
With over 20 years of tradition, the BMW Golf Cup Morocco stands out for its impeccable organization, aligned with international sporting standards. Each edition features strict refereeing, live scoring, and precise management of tee times.
This year, more than 600 participants are expected across the country, divided into three categories: Ladies, 1st series Men, and 2nd series Men.
The BMW Golf Cup is the only private competition, organized by an automotive brand, that includes a dedicated event for juniors. Smeia – BMW places great importance on this category, recognizing its potential for the future of golf in Morocco. This initiative reflects Smeia – BMW’s commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of Moroccan golfers.
In 2016, the Moroccan team distinguished itself by securing 3rd place at the BMW Golf Cup International World Final, held at the legendary Fancourt course in George, South Africa.
This success is a testament to the excellence of the competition organized by Smeia-BMW and its commitment to the development of golf in Morocco.
Since 2014, Smeia – BMW has also been a key partner of the Hassan II Golf Trophy, a crucial stage of the PGA Champions Tour, further establishing its central role in the national and international golfing landscape.
The BMW Golf Cup Morocco 2024 promises to be an exceptional edition, celebrating a decade of passion, excellence, and competition.
The winners of the national phases will have the honor of representing Morocco at the world final, scheduled for March 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, where they will compete against the best amateur golfers from around the world.
