Hakim Ziyech’s days in Europe are numbered. On the verge of leaving Galatasaray, the Moroccan international is expected to move to Qatar. Several clubs from the Qatari league have expressed interest, with one of them taking the lead in the race to sign the creative midfielder.

Currently attending a training camp with the Moroccan national team ahead of their match against Gabon on Friday, September 6th, as part of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Hakim Ziyech continues to be the subject of transfer rumors, with his future seemingly heading away from the European continent.

According to information from Foot Mercato, the Atlas Lion is now close to joining Al-Arabi. This club, which also includes Marco Verratti among its ranks, has gained significant ground in the Ziyech deal, overtaking Al Gharafa.

Before heading to Qatar, Ziyech will need to terminate his contract with Galatasaray to officially sign with one of these teams.
