The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading today, Friday, with an upward trend. Its main index, the « MASI », recorded a growth of 0.12%, settling at 13,923.37 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, rose by 0.1% to 1,129.49 points, while the « MASI.ESG » index, which includes companies with the best ESG ratings, dropped slightly by 0.05% to 1,002.87 points.
Meanwhile, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, increased by 0.51% to 1,299.93 points.
Yesterday, Thursday, the « MASI » index closed the session with a gain of 0.42%.
