Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts Tuesday on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Tuesday’s session with a notable increase. Its main index, the MASI, rose by 0.38%, reaching 14,035.15 points.

The MASI.20, which groups the 20 most liquid stocks, improved by 0.44% to 1,140.31 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with the highest ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, saw a slight increase of 0.2%, reaching 1,007.51 points.

The thematic index, MASI Mid and Small Cap, tracking the performance of small and medium-sized companies, surged by 0.78% to 1,318.79 points.

On the individual stock level, the biggest gains were recorded by Ennakl (+3.8% at 38 MAD), Mutandis (+3.58% at 304 MAD), Jet Contractors (+3.41% at 850 MAD), Auto Hall (+3.35% at 71 MAD), and Cartier Saada (+2.58% at 39 MAD).

On the other hand, the largest declines were observed for Colorado (-4.68% at 49.09 MAD), Taqa Morocco (-2.45% at 1,275 MAD), Med Paper (-2.05% at 21.5 MAD), Disway (-1.65% at 657 MAD), and Risma (-1.57% at 226.35 MAD).

The previous day, the MASI had closed with a 0.51% gain.
