The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended Wednesday’s trading session with a decline, as its benchmark index, MASI, dropped by 0.17% to settle at 13,926.19 points. The MASI.20 index, comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.22% to 1,129.31 points, while the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the highest ESG ratings according to Moody’s ESG Solutions, lost 0.43%, closing at 1,000.49 points. On the other hand, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized companies, gained 0.54% to reach 1,317.72 points. Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid closed with respective losses of 0.36% at 13,137.89 points and 0.26% at 11,695.91 points.
