Lesieur Cristal’s net profit attributable to the group reached 79 million dirhams by the end of June this year, marking a significant rise compared to the 23 million dirhams recorded during the same period in 2023.
In a statement, the company mentioned that Lesieur Cristal continued to implement its operational efficiency projects and initiatives, aiming to reduce costs and improve profitability. Thanks to cost optimization and improved supply management, the operating income increased by 48%, reaching 131 million dirhams. The operating margin also improved, rising from 2.9% to 4.8% in the first half of 2024.
The same statement reported that the group’s revenue amounted to 2.711 billion dirhams, down 11% compared to June 2023.
The first half of the year was also characterized by a slowdown in inflation, which led to a drop in cooking oil prices, along with favorable commercial dynamics across all Lesieur Cristal activities.
Regarding the group’s outlook and development strategy, the company expects a continued recovery in its margins and a return of performance indicators to standard levels in 2024, supported by strong commercial momentum, effective inventory management, and operational efficiency.
