Casablanca Stock Exchange Ends in Decline with MASI Down 0.3%

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed in the red on Thursday, with its main index, the MASI, dropping by 0.3% to 13,884.63 points. The MASI.20 index, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.48% to 1,123.92 points. The MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, lost 0.38%, closing at 996.69 points. In contrast, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, an index tracking the performance of small and medium-sized companies, advanced by 0.43% to 1,323.43 points. Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid ended with losses of 0.52% and 0.33%, closing at 13,069.27 points and 11,655.94 points, respectively.
