The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened Thursday on a positive note, with its main index, the MASI, increasing by 0.3% to 13,967.59 points. The MASI.20, which tracks the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.35%, reaching 1,133.25 points. Additionally, the MASI.ESG, an index that ranks companies based on environmental, social, and governance criteria, rose by 0.31% to 1,003.61 points. The MASI Mid and Small Cap, an index tracking the performance of small and mid-cap companies, also saw a 0.41% increase, hitting 1,323.06 points.
On the stock front, notable gainers included Alliances (+2.32%), Ciments du Maroc (+2.3%), and Immorente Invest (+2.12%). Conversely, the largest declines were seen in Colorado (-2.81%), Sothema (-1.67%), and Managem (-0.88%).
