The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, this Monday, the formation of storm cells accompanied by showers, hail, and gusts of wind in the eastern Rif, Middle Atlas, northern Great Atlas, the eastern high plateaus, and the extreme south of the country.
Rain showers, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are also expected on the Mediterranean coast and the northwest of the country. Low, dense clouds will form in the morning on the central Atlantic coasts, bringing light, localized rain.
Fog patches will appear locally over the northern and central plains. Moderate to strong gusts of wind will occur in the Gharb region, the southeast, and southern parts of the country, along with dust dispersion.
Minimum temperatures will range between 19 and 24 degrees in Saïs, Gharb, Loukkos, the phosphate plateaus, the southeast, and the east of the southern provinces, and between 11 and 16 degrees in the Atlas mountains, Rif, and eastern high plateaus. Elsewhere in the kingdom, temperatures will range between 16 and 22 degrees.
Daytime temperatures will see a decrease.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, and slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Atlantic coast.
