The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened this Wednesday with a downward trend, as its main index, MASI, dropped by 0.06%, settling at 13,990.33 points.
The MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, also fell by 0.15% to 1,131.21 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, saw a decrease of 0.16%, landing at 1,002.82 points.
On the other hand, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized companies, rose by 0.1% to 1,331.3 points.
Last Friday’s session ended with a loss of 0.82% for the MASI index.
