The low-cost airline Ryanair has announced the launch of a new route connecting Girona (northeast Spain) to Béni Mellal.
During the presentation of the company’s growth plan at Girona-Costa Brava Airport, Elena Cabrera, Ryanair’s director for Spain, Portugal, France, and Morocco, said that this new route will be available three times a week.
She explained that this new route is part of Ryanair’s redirection of destinations offered from Girona to other cities, including Marrakech and Béni Mellal.
She added: “We are determined to continue developing this airport. The goal is to reach three million passengers.”
Ryanair plans an ambitious summer schedule for 2024, operating from 12 Moroccan airports and transporting over 5 million passengers (a 31% increase) to, from, and within the Kingdom.
