The General Directorate of Meteorology reported today, Thursday, that thunderstorms accompanied by hail are expected from today, Thursday, to tomorrow, Friday, in several provinces of the kingdom.
In a red alert bulletin, the directorate explained that these thunderstorms, ranging from 70 to 120 mm of rainfall, will affect the regions of Smara and Assa-Zag starting today at 2:00 PM until tomorrow, Friday, at 11:00 PM.
Additionally, an orange alert bulletin indicated that the provinces of Tata, Zagora, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Errachidia, and Figuig will also experience thunderstorms accompanied by hail, with rainfall ranging between 30 and 60 mm. These events are expected tomorrow, Friday, from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
