Ittihad Tanger secured a crucial 3-1 victory against visiting Raja Casablanca in a match held on Wednesday at Sania Rmel Stadium in Tetouan. The match was a rescheduled fixture from the second round of the professional national league “Inwi” for the first division.
Ittihad Tanger’s goals were scored by Ali Harraq in the 5th and 10th minutes, and Jawad Ghabra in the 45th minute. Raja Casablanca’s lone goal came from Yousri Bouzok in the 80th minute.
With this result, Ittihad Tanger climbs to the top of the table temporarily, alongside Renaissance Berkane, both with 6 points. Meanwhile, Raja Casablanca is positioned 15th without any points.
