Tomorrow, Sunday, the royal family and the Moroccan people will celebrate the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmae. This occasion highlights the princess’s ongoing commitment to social initiatives, particularly her support for the most vulnerable, especially children with disabilities. From a young age, the princess has been dedicated to charitable work, serving as president of the Lalla Asmae Foundation for Deaf Children. This pioneering institution provides specialized education and support to facilitate the inclusion of deaf children. In 2017, the foundation signed an agreement with universities to ease access to higher education for deaf students. Additionally, the princess actively participates in social and charitable events both in Morocco and internationally.
