The General Directorate of Meteorology expects today, Saturday, light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in the far south of the country, with a chance of very light rain over the central coasts, the northwest of the southern provinces, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Cumulus clouds are expected to develop over the High and Middle Atlas mountains, while local fog banks may form over the Atlantic plains. The weather will be somewhat warm in the far south of the kingdom.
Local sand winds are expected in the southern regions, with moderately strong gusts in the Tangier area, the southern provinces, the Mediterranean coast, and the central Atlantic plains.
Minimum temperatures will range between 23 and 29°C in the far south, between 8 and 14°C in the Atlas and Rif regions, between 19 and 24°C in the southeast, and between 14 and 20°C in the rest of the country.
Daytime temperatures will see a slight increase in the Atlas mountains and the northwestern plains.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and from slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
