His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid presided over the opening ceremony of the 15th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center this Monday. The event, which runs until October 6, is held under the theme « Horse Breeding in Morocco: Innovation and Challenge. »
Upon arrival, the Prince was welcomed by Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, president of the Royal Moroccan Federation for Equestrian Sports. After reviewing a formation of the auxiliary forces, he was greeted by various dignitaries, including the Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Sadiki, and local officials.
Prince Moulay Rachid then toured the exhibition, visiting areas such as the Supporters’ Village, institutional pavilions, and the International Zone. He also attended equestrian performances and Tbourida demonstrations before taking a commemorative photo with the participating horsemen.
Organized under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the El Jadida Horse Show has become an essential platform for equine professionals. The event highlights Morocco’s rich equestrian heritage through a wide range of scientific, cultural, and recreational activities, including high-level competitions such as the Barbe Horse Champions Cup and the King Mohammed VI Grand Prix for Tbourida.
