Wali Mhidia continues his persistent efforts to bring significant changes to the city of Casablanca. One of the most noticeable transformations is in the area of green spaces, which had drastically decreased over the past years.

Thanks to his vision and determination to revitalize the environmental landscape, the wali has overseen the inauguration of several parks and green spaces in various areas of the city, including Sbata Park and Hay Mohammadi Park, with other projects currently underway.

One of the most notable projects recommended by Wali Mhidia is the conversion of the Ain Diab Corniche, previously known for its « concrete » character, into a green belt stretching from the corniche to the Hassan II Mosque marine park.

With a budget of ten million dirhams, this project is expected to be completed by 2025, adding a new dimension to the city’s appeal and providing a green haven for Casablanca’s residents and visitors.

This transformation highlights Wali Mhidia’s commitment to improving the quality of life in the city and balancing urban development with environmental preservation, making Casablanca a model for sustainable development.
