The CAF Champions League group stage draw delivered a shock as both Moroccan representatives, Raja Casablanca and AS FAR, were placed in the same group.
The two Moroccan clubs will compete in Group B, alongside Maniema Union from Congo and Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa.
Raja secured its spot in the group stage after overcoming Ghana’s Samartex and Niger’s National Guard. AS FAR, on the other hand, advanced by defeating Sudan’s Al Merreikh and Nigeria’s Remo Stars.
The group stage matches are set to kick off in the last week of November.
