Real Madrid announced on Sunday that their international defender Dani Carvajal has renewed his contract with the club until 2026. Carvajal, who joined the club’s academy at age 10 in 2002, climbed through the ranks to play for the reserve team Castilla in 2010. Since joining the first team in 2013, he has become a legend of both Real Madrid and world football, having played 427 matches and won 26 titles, including 6 Champions League trophies.

Carvajal is one of only five players to have won the Champions League six times. He is also a key figure for the Spanish national team, with 50 caps and victories in the UEFA Nations League and the European Championships at various levels.
