The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Thursday on a positive note, with the main index « MASI » rising by 0.17% to settle at 14,172.66 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which tracks the performance of 20 listed companies, gained 0.39%, reaching 1,141.18 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG, which includes companies with the best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, grew by 0.12% to 1,016.09 points.
Similarly, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, saw an increase of 0.38% to 1,356.17 points.
On Wednesday, the « MASI » index had closed the trading session with a gain of 0.92%.
