The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rain showers and localized thunderstorms starting this Saturday afternoon. These will be scattered across the northern and central plains, Souss, the Rif region, and the northern parts of the Saharan provinces.
Light and scattered rain is also expected over the Mediterranean coast and the Atlas Mountains, including both the High and Middle Atlas. Additionally, isolated rain showers with localized thunderstorms are anticipated in the far south of the country.
Moderately strong wind gusts are expected in the eastern region, along the central coasts, and in the Saharan provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between 07 and 12 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountains as well as in the eastern highlands, and between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius in the southern Saharan provinces. They will range between 15 and 21 degrees Celsius in other parts of the country.
As for maximum temperatures, a decrease is expected.
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy along the Mediterranean coast, slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, choppy between Cape Spartel and Cape Ghir, and slightly choppy to choppy along the rest of the coastlines.
