This Sunday, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, and Prince Moulay Ahmed, presided over a religious ceremony at the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat. The ceremony marked the 26th anniversary of the passing of the revered King Hassan II.
The event featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and chants in praise of the Prophet.
On this occasion, the King, along with members of the royal family, visited the tomb of the late King Hassan II, offering prayers for the peace of his soul.
The ceremony concluded with supplications to the Almighty to envelop the late King Hassan II in His infinite mercy and to grant him a place in His vast paradise. Prayers were also offered for the late King Mohammed V, asking for divine forgiveness and blessings.
The attendees prayed for the continued protection of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for his successful endeavors, and for the well-being of the Moroccan people.
The gathering also invoked blessings for the Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and for the strengthening of royal family ties.
The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, the Presidents of the two parliamentary chambers, the King’s advisors, government members, leaders of constitutional bodies, high-ranking officers of the Royal Armed Forces, and representatives of Islamic diplomatic missions accredited in Rabat, as well as other civilian and military figures.
