His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to Mohamed Ould Rachid on the occasion of his election as President of the House of Councillors for the second half of the current legislative term.
In this message, the King stated: « On the occasion of your election as President of the House of Councillors for the second half of the current legislative term, it is our pleasure to extend to you our sincere congratulations for the trust placed in you to carry out this parliamentary responsibility. We wish you every success in your high duties. »
The King added: « On this occasion, we hope that you, along with all the honorable members of the chamber, will continue to work with a high sense of responsibility and commitment to achieving further progress in enhancing the performance of this legislative body, thus strengthening its role and status in the national institutional framework, and reinforcing its active involvement in serving the public interest and defending the just causes of the Moroccan nation. »
The message concluded with the King’s words: « While praising your genuine patriotism and steadfast adherence to the nation’s sacred values, we reaffirm our benevolence and satisfaction. »
